ADI files are bitmap image files used in the AutoCAD program. Files with the ADI extension store digital bitmap data in black and white and are used in plotter printing. Data stored in the ADI format is readable by various programs and can be modified or edited easily.
Contains an index of developer documentation (.ADD) files used by Microsoft Dynamics AX software; provides quicker access and search capabilities for the help documentation.
Disk image created by Active@ Disk Image, a backup and recovery program; may contain a backup of a hard drive, media disc, or other external storage device; can be part of a split archive or a full backup. ADI files can be used for full system backups and restores, as well as partial file system backups. They only store the occupied sectors of a disk and use compression, which helps to reduce the size of the backup. Active@ Disk Image names split archives using the backup name followed by the number in the sequence. For example, a two-file split archive for "MyBackup" would have the files MyBackup1.adi and MyBackup2.adi.
