The use of .biff extensions enable more accurate downloads to Excel than the more utilised .dif extensions in that... If the nomenclature or descriptor in the originating file ends with an inverted comma (") then .dif inspired downloads will project the subsequent downloaded item/row to the right of the "offending" item, thereby creating the possibility of overlooked data within the resultant Excel File. Using .biff(n) (n=8, being the most recent) extensions overrides that particular problem and provides constant data capture in Excel, without the risk of mis-delineation of information as a result of the (") terminating narrative/descriptor.
