The GDL is a binary data which may contain one or more text tags. The GDL (Geometric Description Language) is Graphisoft's parametric object definition language. It is invented for ArchiCAD and used in many other applications. The GDL defines a 3D model, a 2D model, property data, a user interface and a parameter handler. All the above definitions can be parametric. A GDL object is a container for the GDL scripts, default parameters, optional binary data and additonal information (eg. a preview image).
No longer supported by the company, but the program still works under Windows XP/Vista. The diary file produced has the .DOR extension. The DOR file can be saved as a .TXT file, giving it limited readability. It is possible to read diary entries in the text file.
The DOR file extension is associated with Resident Evil 1 computer game.
