Files with the SCH extension identify a schematic or blue print diagram of a printed circuit board (PCB) created by the EAGLE software application. The SCH files store symbols used for logic gates that are attached with lines. The lines identify buses, which are utilized in the generation of a circuit board.
Schematic, or visual diagram, of a PCB (printed circuit board), created with EAGLE PCB design software; includes symbols (for logic gates) connected by lines, which represent buses; used for creating a actual circuit board (.BRD) file. EAGLE stands for "Easily Applicable Graphical Layout Editor."
CIRCAD data (v3.x),CIRCAD data (v4.x),CIRCAD data (v5.x)
File created by the Shematic Capture Editor program included in KiCad, a tool suite used for designing PCB layouts and electronic schematics; saves an electronic schematic as it is laid out on the program's drawing canvas. Electronic schematics are used during the schematics capture process in circuit design. Once the electronic schematic has been created, it can then be passed to the printed circuit board design process.
