Contains user profile data for Mozilla programs such as Firefox and Thunderbird; may include bookmarks, browsing history, and cached data; typically saved with a random filename, followed by the ".slt" extension. In Windows Vista, the Firefox SLT folder is saved in the "Users\Profile\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles" directory; in Mac OS X, it is located in the "~/Library/Mozilla/Profiles/[profile name]/" directory.
The SLT file extension is used to refer to source code and script files in the Script Application Language for Telix – or SALT. SLT files are used to store user-saved information like bookmarks, search histories, cached data and other input.
The level loader trap has one annoying disadvantage; lots of extra files lying around for each game. The super level loader was developed by Damien Burke to replace this multi-file format with a single snapshot file containing all the level data files. It has been designed in co-operation with James McKay (x128), Gerton Lunter (Z80), Rui Ribeiro (WSpecEm) and Darren Salt (helping with Z80Em), and is quite widely supported.
The SLT file extension is related to Senlab, an address label printing software from Sente Limited. An *.slt file is a template for newly created labels.
