Turtle Beach software is now developed by Voyetra Music Software. Another program the uses the file extension WFD is the Turtlebeach Multisound Pinnacle. This application uses files with the file extension WFD to store patches that are used to create drum sounds. TurtleBeach Multisound Pinnacle loads the drum function on channel 10 of the software. However, users have the ability to customize the settings. It can be played on the MIDI channel but the Pinnacle can still see, load and play the patch with the .wfd file extension all the same way.
