File created in the FormFlow 99 format, which was developed by JetForm; contains page form element information, such as the names and values of text fields; used for storing form data that can be imported into a PDF document. XFD files are similar to .XFDF files, except XFDF files are more common and have a newer format that uses XML formatting. NOTE: FormFlow 99 XFD files should not be confused with Extensible Forms Description Language (XFDL) files, which also use the ".xfd" extension.
